RNA

DNA codes for the formation of RNA.

This coding process occurs in the nucleus of the cell.

RNA (ribonucleic acid) - is a nucleic acid, and is similar to DNA with a couple of differences

Differences: 1. Single stranded instead of double stranded. 2. lacks the nitrogenous base T, and is replaced by U (uracil)

3. Its 5 carbon sugar ribose has 1 more oxygen than in DNA.

There are 3 types of RNA: 1. mRNA (messenger RNA), tRNA (transfer RNA), and rRNA (ribosomal RNA).

1. DNA

2. RNA
