Mitosis

Mitosis is used for both cell division and reproduction in cells (but not not sexual reproduction).

Mitosis starts with/ the replication (copying of chromosome) and one division of chromosome material.

This process produces chromosomes in two cells that are the same as the parent.

Mitosis2 Key Points:
1. The same chromosome number is retained from generation to generation.
2. Each daughter cell receives an exact copy of the chromosomes of the parent cell. (clones)
